[?] A few years ago, Broome discovered a letter between Steele’s works in the Angus Library archives at Regent’s Park College, Oxford, revealing a link between these two great hymns. In fact, it appears that Beddome proposed to her on December 23, 1742, which was rejected by Anne. The territory of love has its ups and downs, and the rejection of offers of love is not uncommon in the topography of this map.
[?] From a more optimistic perspective, can we see how the hymnbook Beddome used poetry to express his feelings?In this case, the poetry of John Milton (1608-1674)?It is an excellent reminder of the role that poetry plays naturally in the communication of love.
