Immediately after my conversion to Christianity I dreamed of Jesus, in the dream, Jesus and I were in a temple, it was a large, spacious and very clear church, he wore a rustic robe of brown cloth. I didn’t see myself in the dream, but Jesus held a steady hand. I felt safe (a feeling I hadn’t had in many years) and guided by Jesus, I walked regularly in church. the dream is that I saw nothing at all, they blindfolded me with a bandage.
When I woke up, there was a sense of security, that feeling a child feels when his father protects him from his big, strong arms (if you’re a woman, you understand what I’m talking about in the father’s arms).
- This was the beginning of my Christian life.
- Now it has been a decade and it is no longer a dream to feel the safety of the Father (Celestial) who guides me along the way.
We are surrounded by people who go through different types of waiting, and the wait is really uncomfortable when we want something, right ?, I know sheep waiting to get pregnant, others wait for the couple that the Lord has prepared them to marry, a Sheep has passed many exams for contests in the hope of having a stable professional and economic life and always has one waiting for the time of the appointment , the doctor with your breath has almost stopped knowing if the result of your biopsy is malignant or benign.
It is good to remember that expectation is also under the absolute control of our beloved Lord, and that is what we will talk about in this article, the trust we can have in the God who controls all things.
We are always focused on ourselves, what we feel and what we think, if we can bear it, if they will hurt us, whether we will be happy, happy or successful.
What really matters?Oh, God has forgotten you?Is that how you thought about how God cares for you?Does this kind of thinking invade your soul and corrupt your emotions?
Sheep, remember that God wants much more than your happiness, the Lord wants your eternal healing, and it is much more than your happiness. Does God love you? Uh, let’s see, do you know anyone who would give their life for you?Thus, God gave his life for you, the price of that was Jesus on the cross until the last drop of blood flowed on the earth. . And he didn’t stop there, he always made us, that we’re little verses of Jacob, his home!Oh, sheep, do you realize it’s a lot?
Do you realize that when we change direction, life makes sense?Christ is our presumption, our joy, and our lives. By focusing on our own hopes and difficulties, we weaken our hope in life with Christ and eternal life with Christ has already begun. And eternal life is this: that they may know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. John 17. 3
When we divert attention from our navel and focus on the reason for our faith, it is possible to go through waiting with a living hope (VIVA).
However, according to his promise, we expect new heavens and a new earth, in which justice lives. 2 Stone 3. 13
The quality of the wait depends on your goal. If the goal is Christ and the kingdom of God, what we live here becomes ephemeral in relation to what we expect from a new life with Christ.
How can we change our goal if what we are going through makes us feel emotions and feelings so strong and intense that we cannot control them?Rejoice [1] sheep, because it doesn’t depend on our little one!Let us pray to Christ, by his word that is eternal and we will be washed [2], renewed until we have the thought of Christ [3], the thoughts of Christ will saturate us and all our thoughts that are corrupted by sin will be broken and that have made us captive to fear and anxiety.
Don’t worry about anything; In everything, however, make known your requests before God, with prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will keep his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Fl 4. 6-7
Who are you waiting for?
If you wait alone, this time can become long and painful. You already know the sheep that it is always better to wait with a friend than to be alone. My invitation today is that you come to Christ, the Redeemer, the Savior, the Holy One. of Israel and have this long conversation.
