There’s a maxim that says “send your children to Caesar and they’ll turn you Romans. “
Every day I find myself thinking about the career that God has offered us to women as mothers, a function of incomparable value and I say it with immense fear!We have been fortunate enough to generate and guide our children in the ways of the Lord.
- The family is a gift of the Lord and through it we impact and influence the lives of our children and society as a whole.
- Parents are responsible for teaching children.
- Shaping their character according to Christian principles and values.
- But above all.
- The mother has the greatest responsibility.
- Because it is she who educates and directs the child daily in the first years.
But what is education? This goes far beyond good behavior, logical reasoning, and good arguments. Education also covers the child’s heart. We are educated by our friendships and the things we love; children are educated and inspired by love and also by example.
“When children are guided to look for something to think about during their lives, will they continue this habit throughout their lives?(Karen Andreola)
If we don’t teach them to love God, no one else will. It is at home that you learn to love God. When we are content only with the education of the mind, in the sense of learning content, we neglect the higher purpose. of education that is to glorify and love God.
It is much easier for us to delegate this function to third parties, it is part of human nature to choose the easiest, even if we choose to delegate part of our children’s education, we have a responsibility to evaluate the content and quality of it. teaching through the biblical sieve. I think God expects a lot more from us. Every gift of knowledge and insight comes from the Lord, and the culmination of every education is constant knowledge and intimacy with God, because He is our supreme educator, the creator of all things.
As in the poem
“We seek the truth in the world. We select the good, the true, the beautiful, engraved on the stones and written scrolls, and all the old flowery fields of the soul; And when the hunters of the best, We come back full of our research, only to discover that everything the sages say is in the book that our mothers have read.
? John Greenleaf Whittier
I draw your attention to the last verse of the poem: “It is in the book that our mothers read,” see the importance. God in his word tells us:
“The commandments which I give unto you today shall be engraved in thy heart; You’ll instill them in your children and talk about them, whether you’re sitting at home or walking down the road, lying down and getting up. Tie them to your hand as a sign and take them like a ribbon in front of your eyes; Do you want to write them on the poles and doors of your house?(Deuteronomy 6: 6-9)
It’s a unique task. Record the word of God in the hearts of our children and instill in the minds of our children. Teach all the time and all the time.
So I ask you, is it worth outsourcing our children to the point of losing your heart? If our children do not learn to love God, it is worthless.
Does God care about the little things in your daily life?
Sometimes life is a burden. They are always the same tasks and obligations, challenges and desanities, anxieties and responsibilities. All women have experienced this feeling, whether it’s a mother, a housewife or a woman who works outdoors, spreading time between work and home. However, this book will encourage its readers to see the reality of God’s grace in those areas of daily life that seem tedious and unimportant. Through personal examples and compelling stories, the author presents rich biblical reflections that will help the reader experience the extraordinary power of the gospel in his daily life.
