Why pray

If you’re like me, from time to time, you find that your prayer life needs a start to get out of the routine you fell into. Our tendency is to use the same phrases over and over again. Our tendency is to make used phrases. standard (as well as the use of the word standard). We fell into mechanical repeat models.

The devil hates prayer. Our flesh does not love her naturally, therefore it is not something that flows spontaneously, completely and passionately from the bottom of our hearts, prayer requires renewed discipline.

So when I wrote this book, I put together all the things the early church had prayed for in one place, printed it out for myself, and it turned out to be one of those things that I needed. I thought it might be useful to you. You can print it out and keep it in your Bible for a while to guide you in your prayers.

Knowing that you are not eccentric in your prayer is something that can give you a lot of confidence. Praying for what the New Testament prays for is a sure and powerful form of prayer.

Is prayer still one of the great and glorious mysteries of the universe?It is incomprehensible that the sovereign God, who has all the knowledge and wisdom, will command the progress of his world in response to our prayers, but it is the uniform witness of Scripture. God listens to and answers the prayers of His people. Oh, don’t overlook this incredible way of influencing nations, movements, institutions, churches, and the hearts of peoples, especially in your own hearts.

If you want to pray for what the early church prayed for?

Pray that God may exalt His name in the world. Then pray, “Heavenly Father, hallowed be thy name” (Matthew 6:9).

Pray that God will spread His Kingdom in the world. Thy kingdom comes, thy will be done on earth as in heaven (Matthew 6:10)

Pray that the gospel may advance and be honest; Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread quickly and receive the honor deserved, as He has done among you (2 Thessaloniki 3:1).

Pray for the fulness of San-Espíritu. Si, despite your wickedness, know how to give good things to your children, the more Heavenly Father will give the Holy Ghost to whoever asks!(Luke 11:13; Cf. Ephesians 3:19)

Pray that God will do justice to His people in his cause; Won’t God do justice to his eldes, who yell at him day and night?(Luke 18:7)

Pray that God may save those who are not Christians Brothers, the desire of my heart, and my prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved (Romans 10:1).

Pray that God will direct the use of the sword. Use the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times, with all prayer and supplication; (Ephesians 6: 17-18)

Pray for courage in the proclamation, pray in the Spirit all the time?Pray also for me, that when I speak, I may be given the message of sharing without fear the mystery of the Gospel (Ephesians 6:18-19).

Now, Lord, consider their threats and allow your servants to say your word boldly (Acts 4:29).

Pray for signs and wonders. Now, Lord, “allow your servants to say your word boldly” extend your hand to heal and make signs and wonders in the name of your holy servant Jesus (Acts 4:29-30).

Elijah was human like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain or rain on the earth for three and a half years; He prayed again, and heaven sent rain, and the earth produced its fruit (James 5:17-18).

Pray for the healing of wounded comrades. That they may pray for him and agon agon agon with oil in the name of the Lord; and prayer in faith will heal the sick; The Lord will resurrect him (James 5:14-15).

Pray for the healing of non-Christians. His father was sick, bedridly, feverish and dysentery. Paul came to see him, and after praying, he laid his hands on him and healed him (Acts 28:8).

Pray to expel the demons. He said, “This species comes out only through prayer and fasting” (Mark 9:29).

Pray for the resurrection of the dead. Peter ordered everyone to leave the room; then he knelt down and prayed. Turning to the dead, he said, “Tabita, get up. ” She opened her eyes and, seeing Peter, sat down. (Acts 9:40)

Pray that God will give your troops the necessary supplies. Give us our daily bread today. (Matthew 6:11)

Pray for strategic wisdom. If any of you lack wisdom, ask God, who gives freely to all, voluntarily; and will be granted (James 1:5)

Pray that God will establish leadership in outposts. Paul and Barnabas appointed them elders in each church; after praying and fasting, they gave them to the Lord, whom they trusted (Acts 14:23).

Pray that God will send reinforcements. Ask the harvest master to send workers to his harvest (Matthew 9:38).

As they worshipped the Lord and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, “Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them; Thus, after fasting and praying, they imposed their hands and sent them” (Acts 13:2-3)

Pray for the success of other missionaries. I congratulate you, brethren, for our Lord Jesus Christ and for the love of the Spirit, for joining me in my struggle, praying to God in my name. Pray that I may be free from the unbelievers in Judea and that my service in Jerusalem. will be acceptable to the Saints (Romans 15:30-31)

Pray for unity and harmony on the battle lines. My prayer is not just for them. I also pray for those who believe in me, through their message, that they may all be one, Father, as you are in me and I are in you. May they be in us too, so that the world may believe that you sent me. (John 17:20-21)

Pray for the stimulus of unity. Day and night with perseverance, we pray that we may see you in person and make up for what is missing in your faith (1 Thessalonians 3:10).

Pray for an insightful mind. This is my prayer: may your love grow ever more in knowledge and in every perception, to discern the best, to be pure and irrepressible until the day of Christ (Philippians 1:9-10).

Pray for knowledge of your will. For this reason, from the day we listen to you, we have prayed constantly for you and asked you to be filled with full knowledge of God’s will, all wisdom and spiritual understanding (Colossus 1:9).

Pray to know God better. [We continue to pray that] they may grow in the knowledge of God (Colossses 1:10; cf. Ephesians 1:17).

Pray for the power to understand Christ’s love. So I kneel before the Father? [So that you], with all the saints, may understand the width, length, height, and depth, and know the love of Christ. that surpasses all knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fulness of God (Ephesians 3:14, 18-19).

Pray for a deeper sense of hope guaranteed. Don’t I stop giving thanks for you by mentioning them in my prayers?Let them know the hope to which he has called you, the richness of his glorious legacy in the Saints (Ephesians 1:16, 18).

Pray for strength and perseverance. [We pray constantly to] be strengthened with all power, according to the strength of your glory, that you may have all the perseverance and patience with joy (Colossses 1:11; cf. Ephesians 3:16).

Pray for a deeper sense of your power in us, don’t I stop giving thanks for you by mentioning you in my prayers? That they may know the incomparable greatness of his power towards us, those in whom we believe (Ephesians 1:16, pp. 18-19)

Pray that your faith will not be destroyed, but I prayed for you that your faith will not be lacking and when you convert, strengthen your brethren. (Luke 22:32)

Always pay attention and pray that he may escape all that is about to happen and appear before the Son of Man (Luke 21:36).

Pray for greater faith. Immediately, the father of the child exclaimed, “I believe, help me overcome my disbelief” (Mark 9:24; cf. Ephesians 3:17).

Pray not to fall into temptation. Do not let us fall into temptation (Matthew 6:13).

Watch and pray not to fall into temptation. The mind is ready, but the flesh is weak. (Matthew 26:41)

Pray that God will do his good work. Aware of this, we pray constantly for you, that our God may make you worthy of your vocation and, with power, fulfill all good purpose and work that comes from faith (2 Thessalonians 1:11).

Pray that he will do good deeds. [We continue to pray for you] that you may live in a way worthy of the Lord and in all that pleases you, bearing fruit in all good works (Colossus 1:10).

Pray for forgiveness for your sins. Forgive our debts, just as we forgive our debtors (Matthew 6:12).

Pray to protect yourself from the evil one. Deliver us from evil (Matthew 6:13).
