Verse of the day: In you will be blessed all the families of the earth (Genesis 12. 3).
You who wait in Christ and follow Him in obedience to the faith are descendants of Abraham and heirs to the promises of his covenant.

Then when God said to Abraham 4,000 years ago, “As for me, my covenant will be with you; Will you be the father of many nations?” he has paved the way for each of us, regardless of the nation to which we belong. , to become the son of Abraham and heir to God’s promises, all we must do is share Abraham’s faith, that is, put our hope in God’s promises, so that if obedience requires it, we may abandon our most precious good, as Abraham abandoned Isaac.
We do not become heirs to Abraham’s promises by working for God, but with the confidence that God works for us. “[Abraham] by faith was strengthened, giving glory to God, being fully convinced that he was powerful in fulfilling what he had promised. (Romans 4: 20-21) That is why Abraham could obey God, even when obedience seemed like a dead end. He believed that God would do the impossible.
Or would we say today, faith in Christ, that it is the confirmation of God’s promises?this is the way to become Abraham’s son; obedience is proof that faith is genuine (Genesis 22:12-19). Therefore, Jesus said in John 8. 39, “If you are children of Abraham, do the works of Abraham. “
Abraham’s children are people of all nations who place their hope on Christ and therefore, like Abraham on Mount Moriah, do not let their most precious earthly good impede their obedience.
