Of course, healing is present in Christ’s Atonement, in terms of Isaiah 53, but the question that generates much debate is when this healing is carried out.
There are many people who use this passage to say that because of Christ’s Atonement and because He offered this healing, Christians should not suffer any kind of affliction or illness. I believe that it is against the wind and tide and conflicts with all the teachings of the New Testament, which speak of the suffering of the saints, of the presence of diseases and afflictions in this life before reaching Glory.

- And death.
- Which is one of the consequences of the perfect Atonement made by Jesus.
