What am I going to do? Gods

Verse of the day: Jerusalem will be inhabited as villages without walls, because of the multitude of people and animals there; for I will be for you, said the Lord, a wall of fire around, and I myself will be his glory in the midst of it (Zechariah 2. 4-5)

There are mornings when I wake up feeling fragile and vulnerable, which is often vague. There’s no threat, there’s no weakness. Just a strange feeling that something is going to go wrong and that I’m going to be responsible.

  • This usually happens after many criticisms.
  • After several expectations that have deadlines and that seem enormous and very numerous.

Looking back on about 50 years of periodic mornings, I marvel at how the Lord Jesus has preserved my life and ministry. Anyway, haven’t you been tempted to escape stress? That’s wonderful. I praise God for that.

Instead of letting me sink into the paralysis of fear or running towards a greener grass mirage, God aroused a cry for help and then responded with a concrete promise.

Here’s an example. It’s recent. I woke up feeling emotionally fragile, weak and vulnerable. Prayed:? Can’t I even pray?

An hour later, she was reading Zechariah, seeking the help she had asked of her, and she came.

Jerusalem will be inhabited as villages without walls, because of the multitude of people and animals there; for I will be for you, said the Lord, a wall of fire round you, and I will be your glory in your midst. ? (Zechariah 2. 4-5).

There will be such prosperity and growth for God’s people that Jerusalem can no longer be walled. The multitude of men and animals will be so much that Jerusalem will be like many scattered villages, without walls.

Prosperity is good, but what about protection?

On this subject, God says in Zechariah 2. 5, “I will be for you,” the Lord said, “a wall of fire around. “yes, that’s it. That’s the promise. Gods, that’s what I need.

And if this is true for the vulnerable villages of Jerusalem, it is also true for me, son of God. God will be a “wall of fire around me. ” Yes, he will be. It was. And it will be.

And it’s even better. Inside this fiery wall of protection, he said, “I will be myself, in the midst of it, your glory. “God never simply protects us from His fire; will make us happy with your presence.
