Walking in the Holy Land

Excerpt from the book’s preface? The exhibition art of Joo Calvin ?:

Climbing into the pulpit is walking in holy land. Having an open Bible before you requires not treating sacred things lightly. Being a spokesman for God requires the greatest concern and care in the use and proclamation of the Word. The scriptures warn: “My brethren, many of you do not become teachers. , knowing that we will receive greater judgment? (Tg 3. 1).

  • Unfortunately.
  • However.
  • We live in a generation that has belittled the call to preaching; the display of the Word is replaced by entertainment.
  • Preaching.
  • Theatrical performances.
  • Doctrine.
  • Dramatic works.
  • And theology by artistic manifestations.
  • The modern church desperately needs to return on its way back to a Bible-based pulpit.
  • Centered on Christ and capable of transforming lives.
  • Does God always rejoice in honoring His Word? especially the preaching of His Word.
  • The most significant periods in church history? These times of Diffusion of Reformed Doctrines and Great Awakenings? There have been times when God-fearing men have taken the inspired Word and preached it courageously.
  • In the power of the Holy Ghost.
  • The church mimics the pulpit’s attitude.
  • Only a reformed pulpit makes a reformed church possible.
  • This is the time when pastors need their pulpits to be re-marked by explanatory preaching.
  • Doctrinal clarity.
  • And respect for eternal things; that.
  • In my opinion.
  • Is the greatest need of the Church.
  • Moment.

This book is the first book in a series to study the various ministries of notable men in Church history. Because of the urgent need for powerful pulpits today, we will remain focused on preachers. Can’t I think of a better spiritual exercise for today’s pastors, with the exception of studying Scripture itself, than examining how the spiritual giants of the past exposed the scriptures?

It is for this purpose that this book will study the preaching of the great reformer of Geneva, Jean Calvin.

As we look at Calvin’s life and work, we will examine the marks that distinguished his ministry as a preacher, examine the most important hypotheses that supported his preaching, and examine how he prepared to ascend to the pulpit. By studying all this, we will get a look at his preaching – the introduction of his sermon, interpretation, application, conclusion and final intercession. In short, we will explore the particular brands of Calvin’s art exhibition.

Isn’t the goal here to take an emotional approach? Today’s circumstances are too desperate for such triviality. Instead, the purpose of this book is to help raise the bar for the new generation of exhibitors. The method I use is to verify what it means to be engaged in biblical preaching by analyzing the work of a man who is fully engaged in this sacred work.

If you are a preacher or teacher, you will be challenged to have a higher level of use of the Word. If you are helping someone who has been called to this ministry, learn to pray better. Let reading these chapters be inspiring. and have an impact; It motivates and empowers all its readers – in short, that this is all that can lead to further reform.
