Have you ever been afraid to make a public commitment for fear of not noticing or not realizing it?Who has never been afraid to announce the start of a relationship because it is “too recent”?Who has never been afraid to announce a motivated change For fear of not working? How many mothers didn’t stop announcing an early pregnancy for fear of losing the baby? How many projects have been put aside for fear of not moving forward? We’re afraid of failure, we’re afraid to do something and not succeed. We are concerned that our plans will not go as planned and announced; we are afraid to share our initiatives, dreams, ideas and decisions because, at the end of the day, we fear failure. CHECK: lack of success; failure; Defeat, Certainly, we’ve all tasted this bitter taste.
In times of crisis our fears tend to be even greater, uncertainty and insecurity insist on stalking us, we are afraid to make commitments or make plans because the scenario is not favorable, what if it doesn’t work?Ah, how hard it is to be a little optimistic when the winds blow in the other direction.
- As I write these words.
- I write them as a bride who has made plans.
- Promises.
- Commitments and now faces an uncertain scenario.
- Certainly.
- Even in our most pessimistic plans.
- We have not had a pandemic; in our fragile existence.
- Surprised us.
2020 showed us how fragile our projects are. We hope to get out of here with some lessons learned, if nothing goes right, that at least we have the humility to recognize that our plans have never been sovereign at all, without God’s right hand not bringing them to success, they are doomed to failure. However, this should not discourage us in any way. The Bible encourages us to persevere in times of crisis; bloom even in infertile soils [Encourage!].
Do I remember the words that the prophet Jeremiah announced to the captives of Babylon, if any there?Forty? It would last seventy years and by that time God commanded, “Build houses and dwell in them; plant orchards and eat their fruits. and give birth to sons and daughters, take women for their children, and give their daughters to husbands, that they may have sons and daughters; Do you multiply there and don’t decrease?(Jeremiah 29: 5. 6). In other words: go ahead, these are difficult times, but you are not allowed to stop [go there].
But moving forward is not easy, it requires courage, and above all faith. VALUE: 1. Audacity, audacity 2. Firmness to face an emotionally or morally difficult situation. JTF: the certainty of what is expected, the conviction of the facts I do not see (He 11:1). Courage and faith do not exclude fear, but they dominate it; put it back in place and move on; supported by the truth that the Lord is with us, we must courageously confront our exiles and our forties.
Don’t be overwhelmed by fear. Although exiles and quarantines are not very encouraging scenarios, we have to move on. Do not be discouraged, God’s grace is also manifested in exile; manifests itself beyond the way we put it. The place and circumstances in which we find ourselves do not define us; our identity is in God and he tells us: we are people, despite the dust and chains at our feet. There’s chaos in the world, but look at the sky outside, watch your show at dusk. God’s grace continues to shine.
Despite the daunting scenario, there are sufficient reasons for us to keep making plans: God has a plan; and this plan, ladies and gentlemen, cannot be thwarted by heaven or earth. Yes, our God is a God of plans, he is not the watchmaker who destroyed the world and simply abandoned him; He has a plan for this world and has a plan for you and me, and although we do not know how that plan is executed in our world, one thing is certain: he takes us there, having been created in his image, invites us to join him in his creative work, making plans, creating, building and cultivating the land he has given us.
So, if you face this uncertain scenario, God tells you to “move on. “So go, start something new, embrace this promising relationship with faith, not in the relationship, but in Christ, marry, have children, study, teach, share, reinvent yourself. If what is in your heart glorifies God, turn it off!Don’t be afraid. Although we do not know what God’s plans are for the next few days, He knows it and that is enough.
Make plans. To have faith is not to live by chance, but to believe that God controls everything, including our plans, to pray to God, to seek wisdom, and to discern it from above and from those who are close to you, be wise, because plans are of no use. use it if it doesn’t make sense. Do what you can, depending on your strengths.
“Whatever you have to do, do it according to your strength, for in the grave, where you go, there is no work, no project, no knowledge, no wisdom” Ecclesiastes 9. 10
My prayer is that we will not be guided by fear, but by courage, affirming with conviction and tranquility: “God willing, will we do this or that?”(Stg 4:15). I want to encourage you not to paralyze mente. la life because of the pandemic; If there are plans to make, make them; If there are dreams to dream of, dream them; if there are commitments to make, run them (for sure!). ; If there are services to provide, enjoy them in the best way possible, but don’t be discouraged by circumstances. Don’t be paralyzed by fear. The people of the cross are a brave people, not because they are not afraid. , but because they know where to put them as they advance through the steep mountains of the journey to Heavenly City.
I know that at this point, this phrase is certainly not what we hope to read, but it still takes a dose of reality, for our sake. Frustration will come, prepare for them. At the end of the day, our plans may not succeed and we will return to the frustration of the first paragraph of this text. And if that happens, what are we going to do, how are we going to react, what if the project doesn’t go ahead? What if the relationship is broken, what if the pregnancy is interrupted or even occurs, how are we going to respond?I don’t know, and maybe you don’t know either, it’s hard to deal with failure, especially when our eyes are fixed on success, but one thing is certain, during the Christian journey, I’ve learned that God will always be enough. , even in the face of the greatest frustrations that life has to offer, that will always be enough.
Our plans may fail, but God’s plans will never fail, He knows where it leads us. We can boast of our frustrations because it is in our weakness that God’s power is perfected. God has a plan that will not fail, and the light of this plan covers all our frustrations. That’s enough.
Surprisingly, God does not ask us to take care of everything, I know it is difficult, but do we have to accept that we will certainly not be able to manage everything ?, all the courses, all the “Lives”, all the contents, readings or projects. ; and if we try to do that, we will become saturated and sick, and it is not God’s will for us. Have compassion on your mind, in your body, take a break, breathe. Don’t let yourself do anything, don’t let yourself not process so much information. Let me let you be.
Do it according to your strength, no more, no less. That this time is not a time of mental, emotional and spiritual overload, we must stay healthy and confident in the plan that God executes in our world, the tasks cannot be an escape from reality, if Christ is not glorified, all our work it is useless. We do not need to compare ourselves with what others do, we have to compare ourselves according to what God wants us to do.
But here is a caveat: on the other hand, shouldn’t we give in to dilation and laziness, we should organize our lives so that we can be good administrators of the time God has given us, who knows what awaits us?Who knows that these days are not the respite that must be taken for the difficult times that await us?Who knows that?Isn’t the interval between filling the lamps and announcing the arrival of the groom (Mt 25:1-13)?Or too lazy, how are we going to be?
We can’t manage everything, but we can manage something, maybe just a handful, that’s within our reach right now, but that’s certainly enough. Don’t let productivity become an idol these days, don’t let the comparison stop you from seeing your progress, and please don’t take a burden that God hasn’t placed on you.
We talk about courage, but remember that courage doesn’t always come when our knees are bent, it often goes through a friendly word, breath, one?Audible, be a stimulus. Don’t be the one who will demotivate those around you, I know the one who will say, “Listen, I know these are difficult times for us, but God is in charge. I’m going to pray for you, count me in. . ?? Sharing dreams and projects is already very difficult to deal with fear of failure, so let’s be sensitive to people who are encouraged to share what’s in their heart, rather than pointing out anything that might go wrong?Or, perversely, expect this to happen we must be the ones who will encourage and support, encourage and not discourage ourselves. Be an animator, the sky rejoices.
Finally, I leave my breath here: KEEP THE CALMA, Does God have a plan?
