Two tactics of life: law or faith ?, Galatians four (Infographic?Visual theology?)

In Galatians 4:21-31, Paul uses allegories to teach about those who live under the law and those who live by faith. Today, we bring you an infographic to help you understand this passage.

Biblical text

  • Tell me you want to be under the law: don’t you hear the law?For it is written that Abraham had two sons.
  • One of the slave and one of the free; but the slave was born.
  • According to meat; that of the free.
  • Through promise.
  • These things are allegorical; because these women are two alliances; we are actually referring to Mount Sinai.
  • Which it generates for slavery; It’s Agar.
  • Now.
  • Agar is Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to today’s Jerusalem.
  • Which is enslaved with its children.
  • But Jerusalem up there is free.
  • Which is our mother; because it says:.

Rejoice, sterile, do not give birth, rejoice and shout, you who are not in diapers; because the children of the abandoned outweigh those who have a husband in number.

But you, brethren, are children of promise, like Isaac; But, as in the past, he who was born according to the flesh persecuted the one who was born according to the Spirit, the same now; But what does Scripture say?

He throws away the slave and his son, for under no circumstances will the slave’s son be the heir to the free woman’s son.

So, brethren, we are not children of the slave, but of the free
