“We know that all things contribute to the good of those who love God, of those who according to their plan are called (Romans 8. 28).
We will consider, first of all, what things work together for the good of the pious man, and here we will show that the best and worst things work together for his good. We start with the best things.

God’s power cooperates for good, helping us when we are in trouble. “Under you, extend your eternal arms? (Deut 33. 27). What held Daniel in the lion’s moat?Jonah in the belly of the whale? The three Hebrews in Isn’t it strange to see a broken cane grow and bloom?How is it possible that a weak Christian can not only endure affliction, but also rejoice in it?The arms of the Almighty”. My power is perfected in weakness?(2Co 12. 9).
God’s power works for our good in meeting our needs. God creates comfort when resources fail. He who brought crows into the food to the prophet Elijah will bring the sustenment of his people. Oil in the can? (1 Kings 17. 14). The Lord rolled back the sun ten degrees on The Clock of Ahaz; Similarly, when our external well-being decreases and the sun almost sets, God often causes an awakening and causes the sun to recede several degrees.
Will the power of God subdue our corruptions?(Mq 7. 19). Is it your strong sin? God is more powerful, He will break this leviathan’s head. Is your heart hard? God will dissolve this stone in the blood of Christ. “Did the Almighty make my heart sweet? (Job 23. 16, KJV). When we say, like Jehoshaphat, “We have no strength against this great enemy,” the Lord comes with us and helps us fight our battles. God’s power defeats our enemies. This tarnishes pride and thwarts opponents’ plans: “Will iron bar rule them and tear them apart?”(Sal 2. 9, ARA). There is anger in the enemy, evil in the devil, but power in God. (II) God’s wisdom works for good. God’s wisdom is our oracle to teach us. Just as he is the strong God, he is also a counselor (Is 9:6). We are often in ignorance, in trouble and in doubt about the way forward; and this is where God comes with the light. ?Am I going to guide you with my eyes? (Sal 42. 8, KJV). ” Eyes” here denotes the wisdom of God. Why do the Saints see better than the wisest politicians?They forese evil and hide; see Satan’s sofisma. God’s wisdom is the column of fire that precedes and guides them.
(III) God’s goodness cooperates for the good of the pious man. God’s goodness is a way to make us good. Is it God’s goodness that leads to repentance?(Rom 2. 4). God’s goodness is a ray of spiritual sunshine that melts our hearts in tears. “Oh, ” said the soul, “isn’t it true that God has been so good to me?”For so long he tolerated me, away from hell, how could he further sadden his mind?Will I sin against goodness?
God’s goodness cooperates for good because it anticipates all blessings. The favors we receive are the flows of money flowing from the source of God’s goodness. This divine attribute of goodness brings two kinds of blessings. Common Blessings: We all participate in it, both good and evil; this sweet dew falls on thistle as it falls on the rose. Blessings of coronation: of these, only stakes participate. “Who crowned us with kindness? (Sal 103. 4, KJV). Thus, God’s blessed attributes cooperate for the good of the saints.
