We know that all things contribute to the good of those who love God, those who are called according to their plan (Romans 8:28).
Do you take Watson in an excerpt from his sermon?(A Divine Tonic) – 1663, writes:
- First we must consider that things work together for the good of the pious man; and here we will show that good and bad things work together for their own good.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that in their very nature, the worst things are good, because they are the result of the curse, but though they are naturally bad?However, when does God’s wise and sovereign hand control and sanctify them?are morally good, do you like the elements, although of different qualities?God has adjusted them in such a way that they all cooperate harmoniously for the good of the universe. Or, like on a clock, do the gears seem to move unlike the others?everyone works the clock. So, do some things seem to go against the pious man?However, because of God’s wonderful providence, they cooperate for him. Among these worst things, there are four sad evils that work for the good of those who love God.
