As some expressions of sexuality, formerly considered taboo, become increasingly common and as colleagues, friends and even family share the news of a divorce without an investigation of guilt [1], a homosexual relationship or a stable union, christians, especially when friendships and family ties are at stake, feel pressured to sympathize rather than condemn , to support rather than reject, to affirm rather than reject; however, we still have an obligation to fight with the biblical text.

And unconventional expressions of sexuality are becoming common, classical biblical teaching is becoming less and less popular in our time; However, what if the true relevance of the scriptures lies in the fact that the scriptures show no interest in being relevant?In other words, does it show no interest in being adapted, revised or censored simply to follow the news of the day, so the sexual issue is an issue that sincere believers must address. It is only this that will make Christians truly relevant in culture.
Jesus, who remained single and single throughout his life, approved sex in the marital relationship between male and female, invented sex. Sex is not forbidden, is it not a taboo, is it a gift, an invitation for husband and wife to enjoy Eden together?Naked and insolent, intimate and embraced, exposed and not rejected. Proverbs invites the husband to find satisfaction in his wife’s breasts. Solomon’s song describes a husband and wife bravely. Paul, also single and single, says that, except for brief periods of prayer, a physically healthy husband and wife must surrender sexually. Why are the scriptures apparently so liberal about sex in heterosexual marriage, but so limited to any other scenario?Tim Keller says it’s because sex is the most pleasurable and dangerous of all human faculties. Sex is very similar to fire. It can heat, comfort and purify. But if not handled with care, it can also burn, infect, scrape and destroy. I have seen it happen in countless pastoral situations over the years. “There is a path that seems right to man,” says the sacred proverb, “But does the end lead to the paths of death?”(Proverbs 14. 12).
So what’s the direct way on this issue?I intend to offer something out of the ordinary, and if Christians, especially those of us who want to be salt and light in culture, but who still affirm the ancient Judeo-Christian vision of sex, we are more concerned about biblical sexual ethics. What about that over there?

Because unless and until we become that kind of countercultural community among us people, they will listen as merchants to all our zeal for biblical chastity. And rightly so.
