Weekly, in football country, a lady is defamed and praised instead for giving birth to a son who makes unforgivable mistakes on the lawn, that lady, blameless, is the one who ends up paying the duck because of her son.
But, to the delight of her and many other mothers, there was in history a mother of a judge who is remembered to this day for her performance, determination and faith in God.
- What can today’s mothers and mothers-to-be learn from Anne.

- The last judge of Israel in biblical times?I think a lot:.
1. PRAY AND PERSEVER
In difficult times, with national crises and disagreements, a barren woman begins to endlessly seek God in search of a child’s miracle.
Anne observes Israel’s degrading situation and asks the Lord for a son, then brings him back to his cause, confident that God could use him as his instrument to awaken a disobedient nation. The seriousness of bringing someone into the world was filled with prayer and prudence.
2. EDUCATE THE CHILD IN THE WAYS OF THE LORD
According to the biblical account, Anne did not spend much time with little Samuel because she went to live early in the temple rooms to learn the duties of a priest.
However, I think I would like to take advantage of the time you had to visit your son, later, as a man, we will find Samuel balanced and deeply attached to the realities of his time, we will also find a man of prayer, who has never stopped praying for his people: “As for me, far from me that I sin against the Lord , not praying for you” (1 Samuel 12:23). We also point out that he was undoubtedly recognized as one?Prophet? for all, from the north to the south of the country.
Who did Samuel learn to pray with? Perhaps with a good number of people, but I think the most striking example found it in his mother, who not only prayed for him but also with him, and taught him the wonderful stories of God’s power and work.
3. Help the children walk in the truth and perceive sin
The mother’s influence on the child’s life is very great, and in this period of training and information, the child absorbs many of her teachings and examples.
A mother open to dialogue and understanding of the child’s evolution in her curiosities and natural developmental issues will preserve the healthy growth of the little one entrusted to her by God, freeing him from the terrible directives and influences of those who have impregnated him with sins.
The girl will grow in stature and grace before God and men (Luke 2:52) and be very happy.
Then, “mom” and “mother-to-be,” try to decorate and practice (literally, if any) the verse found in John’s third epistle, and you will still experience many joys in this life:
“Do I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are in the truth?(3 John, verse 4)
