The importance of justification by faith in the Council

Justification by faith is a fundamental doctrine of Christian life, this not only transforms our position before God, but frees our awareness of dead works (He 9:14), so this doctrine is also fundamental to the board, says Heber Campos Jr. about this in your class about “The Doctrine of Justification in the Reformation?”in the faithful leadership course:

Horatius Bonar, in the book? Eternal Justice?(Faithful Editor, 2012? Pp. 95-96)? An excellent resource on the subject?Guest reviews:

  • The recognition of the PERFECTION of the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • As well as his personal excellence.
  • His convenience.
  • His courage by power is the only thing that satisfies the heart and conscience of the sinner; satisfies the first.
  • Introducing him to the most beautiful.
  • Of all the objects on which a heart can rest; and the latter.
  • Providing him with the only thing that takes away from the trembling conscience all possible reasons for accusation.
  • Only the true knowledge that the person has of him who is “Christ of God”.
  • The appreciation of his consummate sacrifice and life the connection with Christ Himself can attain the miserable condition in which man has sunk; not only lifting it from the well and mud; not just set foot on the eternal rock; but to elevate it to a kingdom of peace and holiness like no less precious means could achieve for Adam’s fallen son.

“He who did not know sin has been sinned by us. “It is on this basis that we build for eternity. The appropriation of all our legal responsibilities by a divine substitute is what liberation brings us. These responsibilities were enormous and esfuerzo. de on our part, getting rid of them could succeed. All must be filled. Such legal charges, such as those against the sinner, cannot be dismissed. These are only charges and must be dealt with fairly. God offers us a resolution, transferring them to someone who can answer for them. The basis of this determination was established on the Cross, and on this basis, God is ready to deal with any sinner for the total cancellation of all his debts.

[?] Our character is not transferred to Christ, but our debts; and by our acceptance of this God-made mode of transfer, we make the full exchange, whereby we are absolved of all guilt and enter a state of “no condemnation. ” Sin is attributed to Christ, as our substitute; and justice is attributed to us, as acceptors of this substitute. It is liberation, peace and eternal life.
