Verse of the day: But now they yearn for a higher homeland, that is, heavenly; Therefore, God is not ashamed of them, of being called their God, because He has prepared a city for them (Hebrews 11:16).

The first reason God is not ashamed to be called his God is because He did something for them. God made you a city, of which God is an architect and builder?(Hebrews 11. 10) Therefore, the first reason you are not ashamed to be called your God is because you worked for them, not the other way around.

? So this indicates that there has just been a reason why God is not ashamed: reason is his desire. They want a better country, a country better than the land in which they live; that is, a heavenly one.
When we want this city more than we want all this world can give, God is not ashamed to be called our God. When we appreciate all that God promises to be for us, He takes pride in being our God. That’s good news.
Then open your eyes to god’s best country and city, and unsloye with all your heart. God will not be ashamed to be called your God.
