Union with Christ is the irrevocable work of the Spirit. Nothing can unite us more or less Cristo. La communion with Christ can be affected by our sin and disobedience. As we walk with God, this communion becomes ever softer. I like to give four ways to improve our communion with God.
John 15:1-11: How do we stand in Christ? This passage gives us an answer: by the Word of Truth ?, to know and obey the Word (v. 7; cf. Jn 17), so we cannot think that doctrine interferes with our relationship with Christ. If you want more of Christ in your life, you need more of His Word in your heart. Communion with God cannot be separated from obedience to God. Didn’t Jesus say, if you love me, sing it hard?or “if you love me, will you feel a warmth in you. “Your joy will only be complete if Christ remains in you and Christ will remain in you only if your Word of Truth remains in you.
- We need the right motivation to make us pray.
- Guilt-based motivation (you’re a terrible Christian if you no longer pray) won’t take you very far.
- But a joyful motivation (talking to a friend) will.
Being part of a church is one of the main ways to have fellowship with Christ (1 John 1. 3). Without the breath of the saints, we can fall into the deception of sin.
1Co 10. 16? When we participate in the Lord’s table, we participate or have fellowship (the term is koinonia) with the blood and body of Christ; when we have dinner, we do more than remember Christ (it is important, but not everything), we are in communion with him. He is not physically there, but spiritually. Dinner is a reminder of the gospel.

If you think you already knew all this, remember that being a Christian is a long experience in the same sense, if you want communion with Christ, these are the channels that presented you, these simple things we have to do day after day. The way to achieve extraordinary communion is by ordinary means.
