Seven Reasons to Worry (Part 3)

Verse of the day: Therefore, do not worry, saying, What shall we eat?, What shall we drink?Or: What are we going to dress up with? For the Gentiles seek all these things; because Your Heavenly Father knows that everyone needs it; Therefore, seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things shall be given to you above. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow it will bring its care; His own wickedness is sufficient every day (Matthew 6. 31-34).

Matthew 6 contains at least seven promises from Jesus to help us fight the good battle against disbelief and free us from anxiety. In Parts 1 and 2, we saw promises 1 through 4; now we’ll look at the 5-7 promises.

  • PROMISE 5 😕 So.
  • Don’t worry about saying.
  • “What are we going to eat.
  • What are we going to drink?Or: What are we going to dress up with? For the Gentiles seek all these things; Because does your Heavenly Father know that everyone needs him?(Matthew 6:31-32).

Don’t think God doesn’t know your needs. He knows them all and is his “Heavenly Father. “He doesn’t look away, with indifference, he cares. It will act to meet your needs when the time comes.

PROMISE 6: “Seek, therefore, first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you?”(Matthew 6. 33).

If you surrender to God’s cause in the world, instead of worrying about your particular material needs, He will make sure you have everything you need to fulfill your will and give you glory.

This promise is similar to the promise of Romans 8. 32: “[God] will not give us in grace with [Christ] all things. “

PROMISE 7 😕 Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring your care; Is it your own evil every day?(Matthew 6. 34).

God will make sure that you are not tested on any day beyond what you can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13). Will he work for you to keep your strength and peace with you for several days?(Deuteronomy 33. 25).

Every day you will have no more afflictions than you can bear; and every day you will have enough mercy for daily stress (Lamentations 3:22-23).
