- When I fear that my ministry will be useless and empty.
- I fight disbelief with the promise of Isaiah 55.
- 11:?So will the word that comes out of my mouth: it will not return empty to me.
- But will do what I want and thrive on this so that I have designated it ?.
When I hope to be too weak to do my job, I fight against disbelief with Christ’s promise: “Put on my grace, for power is perfected in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9).
When I am concerned about the choices I must make for the future, I fight disbelief with the promise: “I will instruct you and teach you the way forward; and, in my eyes, will I give you any advice?(Psalm 32. 8).
When I wait to face my opponents, I fight against disbelief with the promise: “If God is for us, who will be against us?”(Romans 8. 31).
When I worry about the welfare of those I love, I fight against disbelief with the promise that if I, being evil, know how to give good things to my children, how much more?Father, who is in heaven, give good things to those who ask you ??(Matthew 7:11).
And I struggle to maintain my spiritual balance by remembering that all who have left the house, or brothers, or sisters, or mother, or father, or children or fields for Christ, will receive a hundred times more houses, brothers, sisters, mothers. , children and camps, with persecution; and, in the world to come, eternal life?(Mark 10:29-30).
When I hope to be sick, I fight disbelief with the promise: “The afflictions of the righteous are many, but the Lord delivers them all?”(Psalm 34. 19).
And with trembling, I consider the promise: “Tribulation produces perseverance; perseverance, experience; experience, hope. Now hope does not confuse, because God’s love is spread in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us?(Romans 5. 3-5).
