Verse of the day: Bring your child. (Luke 9:41)

The disappointed father turned desperate from the disciples to his Lord. His son was in the worst possible condition and all resources had failed. The son was immediately freed from the evil one, when the father faithfully obeyed the command of the Lord Jesus: “Bring your son. ” Children are a precious gift from God. However, many anxieties arise with the arrival of children. They can be a great joy or a great misfortune for parents. Children can be filled with the Spirit of God or possessed by an evil spirit. In any case, the Word of God gives us a recipe for the cure of all your diseases: “Bring. ” Oh, we have prayed more earnestly for our children when they are still babies. Sin is in them; therefore, our prayers must begin to attack you. The cries for our descendants must precede this cry that accompanies their arrival in the world of sin. In his younger days, we will see sad signs of this mute and deaf spirit, who will not pray properly, nor will he hear the voice of God in the soul. However, Jesus commands: “Bring. ” As they grow older, they can sink into sin and reveal their enmity against God. So when our hearts are broken, let us remember these words of the great Doctor: “Bring your son. ” As long as they are alive, we cannot stop praying for them. No business is lost while Jesus is alive. The Lord sometimes allows His people to get into trouble so they will recognize how necessary it is. Evil children, when they reveal our inability to face the depravity of their hearts, push us to run to the Almighty for strength. It is a great blessing for us. Whatever the need, we must allow it to carry us, like a rushing current, into the ocean of God’s love. Jesus can immediately remove our sadness. The Lord Jesus rejoices to comfort us. Let’s hurry and look for him, while he longs to meet us.
