September 16th? Praise is just

Verse of the day: And whoever drinks, even a glass of cold water, to one of these little ones, for being my disciple, I truly tell you that you will not lose your reward under any circumstances. (Matthew 10:42)

Well, I can do all that. I can do an act of kindness with the Lord’s servants; He knows that I love all his servants and that he would consider it an honor to wash his feet; for the love of his Lord, I love the disciples.

  • What benevolent attitude of our Lord when he mentioned such an insignificant act? Drink even a glass of cold water! This is what I can do.
  • Even if I am poor.
  • Even if I have a lower social status.
  • I will do it with intense joy.
  • This.
  • Which seems so insignificant.
  • Observes the Lord.
  • When he does it to one of the least of his disciples.
  • Obviously.
  • It is not the cost.
  • It is not the skill.
  • It is not the amount you take into consideration.
  • But the reason.
  • We make a disciple.
  • Simply because he is a disciple of Christ.
  • His Lord watches him and rewards him.
  • He does not reward us for the merit of what we do; the Lord Jesus rewards us according to the riches of his grace.

I give you a glass of cold water; He, in turn, makes me drink white water and I give it to one of your little ones; He, in turn, considers me one of them. Jesus has a justification for his generosity in what His grace led me to do; He declares, “Under no circumstances will he lose his reward. “
