Seven reasons not to worry (part 2)
Verse of the Day: Who among you, anxious as you are, can add a twist in your life and why do you care about the dress? Notice how the lilies of the fields grow: they neither work nor move; but I assure you that not even Solomon, in all his glory, dressed like any of them; Now, if God dresses the grass of the fields on this road, which exists today and is thrown into the oven tomorrow, how much more will you, men of little faith? (Matthew 6,27-30)
- Matthew 6 contains at least seven promises from Jesus to help us fight the good battle against disbelief and free us from anxiety.
- In the first part.
- We saw Promises 1 and 2; today we will see promises 3 and 4.
PROMESSE No. 3: Which one of you, as anxious as you are, can add an inclination over the course of your life? And why are you worried about clothes? (Matthew 6:27-28).
Is this some kind of promise? The simple promise of reality: anguish will do you no good. That’s not the main argument, but sometimes you just have to be firm with yourself and say, “Alma, this concern is absolutely useless. You’re interrupting not only your own day, but also that of many other people. Give it to God and continue your work?.
Anxiety produces nothing valuable
PROMISE 4: Notice how the lilies of the field grow: they do not work and do not move; But I assure you that not even Solomon, in all his glory, dressed like any of them; Now, if God saw the grass of the field like this, which exists today and is baked tomorrow, how much more do you, men of little faith?(Matthew 6:28-30).
Compared to the flowers of the fields, you are a much higher priority for God, because you will live forever and therefore give him eternal praise.
However, God has such an abundance of creative power and care that He gives you flowers that last only a few days, so He will certainly take that same creative power and skill and use it to care for His children who will live forever.
