Seminars exercise pastors

Seminars do not train pastors. Churches form pastors, seminaries help a lot, but only churches forge the character of the pastor. If you want to be a good shepherd, do a seminary and serve in your church.

Don’t use the seminary as an excuse to leave the church. A seminary that takes you out of church shouldn’t be a good seminary. The best seminary serves the church. He set an example.

  • “But.
  • Jonah.
  • If I’m too involved with the church.
  • I won’t be able to fulfill the seminary’s obligations.
  • “Take it easy! The church is not a stone on the way.
  • Are you saying that after taking control of a church.
  • You will no longer be repelled or studied? What kind of pastor do you want to be?.

The church will almost always take up your time and you will almost always feel that you are never prepared enough to take care of it. Pastoral care requires study, dedication and excellence. Don’t think I’m telling you all this so you can give up.

If with what I said you wanted to give up, maybe you’re not in business. What I just said should light your heart and send you body and soul to the ministry. Our churches are morally and intellectually well prepared. Pastors.

Unleash the desire of your heart. Anyone who desires the ministry desires a glorious work. I never forget the words of the late Dr. Shedd, speaking of his advice and his answer to the question about his vocation:

“Nothing extraordinary happened to me. I didn’t see any angel, no angel spoke to me. I simply felt an uncontrollable need to be a shepherd, I doubled my knees and said to God, “Lord, do I want so much to be a shepherd?? The Lord is going ???.
