The ALCANCE conference, the IX National Conference of Atos 29 Brazil, is currently taking place in Rio de Janeiro. But what is Acts 29?
- Acts 29 is a ministry that seeks to unite churches that establish new churches for the good of Jesus and the Gospel and that also seeks to work to revitalize churches that are dying or until they are already dead.
- Relocating these churches around the world.
- Ministry is obedience to the Great Commission of Matthew 28.
- With the aim of seeing millions of lives transformed by the power of the Good News of Jesus Christ.
The mission of Acts 29 is to unite churches that establish new churches for the cause of Jesus and the Gospel, and to relocate churches that are dead or dying in the world. This work is done in obedience to the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18). -20), with the aim of seeing millions of lives transformed by the power of the Good News of Jesus Christ.
The gospel is an urgent and first-class message; however, pastors and leaders, even in gospel-centered churches, often neglect the urgency and need to proclaim Jesus’ good news to the world around them.
Many churches, even those with good theology, do not grow, are not interested in change, do not innovate professionally. They don’t understand how to contextualize the gospel.
Pastor Tim Keller reminds us that as culture changes, the Church must reflect on how we communicate the essential truths of the gospel to an increasingly changing world. This is our task as pastors and ministerial leaders. We pastors have a responsibility to reach as many people as possible with the good news of Jesus.
We are called to contextualize, but without compromising the message of Jesus and the essential aspects of what God calls the local church, how can we grow creative in our communication, within our reach, in our attempts to share the good news of Jesus with the world? that surrounds us?
