Abraham, as the recipient of the promise, had every right to choose the country where he would remain, but he did not; let Lot choose. And Lot looked at the meadow and associated this meadow with the Garden of Eden, yet it was the land of Sodom and Gomorrah. How many times do we not associate the fields of Sodom with the Lord’s Garden?World! We will not experience awakenings if we approach worldly and sin.
If we want an awakening, we cannot look at Sodom and be enchanted by the beauty of the earth; we must look to the Lord.
- Be very careful with sin.
- Run away from it! He who was born of God hates sin; he who loves God cannot love sin.
Live by the grace of Dios. No it is by your own efforts that you will be free from sin, but by the grace of God, by the Spirit of God. It is the wonderful grace of God that makes the sinner a saint, the wicked the righteous.
Remember Lot’s wife, who became a salt statue to love the things of this world without the Lord.
Let us live for the glory of God!
