There are other texts that speak of Satan’s fall: Luke 10:18, Ap 12:1-9. Some people also list the texts of Is 14. 12-15 and Eze 28. 11-19 the fall of Satan, as can be seen in Wayne Grudem’s Text, named lucifer, but there are objections: Robert L. Alden?Lucifer: Who or what? And Ra McLaughlin? Satan was never Lucifer.
The origin of sin
However, a much more complicated explanation than Satan’s origin is the origin of sin. First, we recognize that the answers to this question will not be simple and we probably won’t have a conclusive answer. But historically, beliefs have placed God as the non-author of sin, as we can see in the Westminster Confession of Faith of 1647.
God’s omnipotence, unstoppable wisdom, and infinite goodness are manifested in such a way in their providence that it extends to the first fall and all other sins of angels and men, and it is not by a simple permission, but by such a permission that, for their own holy purposes, he limits them wisely and powerfully , and regulates and governs them in a multiple, they will dispense, but this permission is such that the sin of these transgressions comes only from the creature and not from God, who, being the most holy and just, cannot be the author of sin or approve it.
