Praying to our Father, “Is your will done, on earth as in heaven?”

4. Thy will be done, on earth as in heaven.

As proof that your kingdom is coming, and to sanctify your name, Heavenly Father, thy will be done; we know, Lord, that everything you have liked, you have done in heaven and on earth, at sea. and in all depths (Ps 135. 6); your counsel will stand, you will do all your will (Is 46:10): again, Holy Father, not ours, but yours (Lk 22:42). As you have thought, this is how it can happen, and as you have determined this to be so (Is 14:24) Do everything according to the counsel of your will (Ephesians 1:11). Have even those who have not known you serve your purposes, who do not think so, and whose heart does not understand in this way (Is 10:7).

  • Father.
  • May your will be done for us and for us (1 Samuel 3:12).
  • Here we are; And you; Do what you want (1Sam 3.
  • 18; 2Sam 15.
  • 26); May the will of the Lord be done (Acts 21:14) O!Give us to submit to your will following the example of the Lord Jesus.
  • Who said.
  • Be not as I want.
  • But as you will (Mt 26:39); And say.
  • The Lord gave it.
  • And the Lord took it; Blessed be the name of the Lord (Job 1:21).
  • Have we received the good of God and will not also receive evil (Job 2:10)?.

Father, may the scriptures, the scriptures of the prophets, be fulfilled, which cannot fail (Mt 26:56; Jn 10. 35). Even if heaven and earth pass, never let an i or a fragment of your word pass (Mt 5:18) Do as is expressed in the Scripture of Truth (Dan 10:21), and be seen that forever, O Eternal, your word is established in heaven (Ps 119:89).

Lord, give each of us the grace to know and do Heavenly Father’s will (Mt 12:50). This is God’s will: our sanctification (1Q 4. 3). The God of peace himself sanctifies us in everything (1Q 5:23). O we overflow with full knowledge of your will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding (Col 1. 9), and be perfect in all good, to do thy will (He 13:21). Oh, it has been long enough for us to do the will of the flesh (1P 4. 3) and walk according to the course of this world (Ep 2. 2). our food and drink always consist of doing our Father’s will and doing his work (Jn 4:34); not our will, but that of the one who sent us (Jn 6:38), that we may be of those who will enter the kingdom of heaven (Mt 7:21) and not of those who will be punished with several blows (Lr 12:47).

Lord, thank others too, that they may know and do your will; so that they can experience what is God’s good, pleasant and perfect will (Rom. 12: 2); That they may not become foolish, but try to understand what the Lord wants (Ephesians 5:17); and thus gives them to remain perfect and fully convinced of all the will of God (Colossses 4:12); and that we all serve our own generation, according to this will (Acts 13:36). And having done God’s will, let us atern the promise (Acts 10:36); and this part of God’s will will be fulfilled. Lord, be firm forever the word you have spoken of your servants; And do as you said (1 Chronicles 17:23).

We rejoice that your will be done to heaven; in which the holy angels fulfill your orders and obey your word (Salt 103,20); in which they constantly see the face of our Father (Mt 18:10) and we regret that your will is done so little on earth, that so many children of men are taken captive by Satan to fulfill his will (2 Tim. 2. 26) O may this earth look more like heaven! And may we, who hope to be soon like the angels of heaven (Mt 22:30), now, like them, never rest to praise you (Ap. 4. 8); that we can now, like them, endure and resist Satan (Dan 10:13); that we are like flames of fire flying fast (Salt 104. 4; Give 9. 21), and as we walk forward, wherever the Spirit goes (Eze 1. 12); serve the good of others (Hebrews 1:14) and thus come to the communion of countless armies of angels and the universal assembly (Hebrews 12. 22).
