Verse of the day: Have I put my Spirit upon him?It will not crush the broken rod, nor will it extinguish the smoldering crowd (Isaiah 42:1-3).
The most encouraging words I have heard in weeks probably come from a prophecy in Isaiah 42:1-3 about how Jesus will use His spiritual power.
- Do you feel like a broken cane.
- Like one of those big lilies whose stem stretches until the flower falls to the ground and has no life?Have you ever felt that your faith was just a small spark instead of a flame? The birthday candle?.
Rejoice! The Spirit of Christ is the Spirit of mind: it will not remove its flower; won’t turn off his spark.
“Is the Spirit of the Lord upon me?(Luke 4:18). Will the sun of righteousness rise, bringing salvation to its wings?(Malachi 4. 2). ? [He is] meek and humble in heart; And do you find rest for your soul?(Matthew 11:29) Wait for the Lord, be kind and strengthen your heart, so wait for the Lord?(Psalm 27. 14).
It can be painful for us to be just a spark instead of a burning fire, but listen and cheer up: yes, there’s a big difference between a spark and a fire, yet there’s an infinite difference between a spark and none!A mustard seed (of faith) is infinitely closer to being a mountain than not being a seed.
Open the window of God’s promises and let the Spirit blow in every room of your heart. God’s holy wind will not break or shut down. He will raise his head and turn his spark into a flame. He is the Spirit of mind.
