October 7th? We hope, God works

We wait, God works

Verse of the day: For since ancient times we have not heard him, either with ears or eyes, we have not seen God beyond you, who works for him who waits in him (Isaiah 64:4).

  • Few things have dominated me with more joy than the truth that God loves to show his divinity by working for me.
  • And that his work for me is always before.
  • Below.
  • And in everything I do for Him.

At first, this may seem arrogant about us and involve contempt for God, to say that he works for us, but it is only because of the connotation that I am an employer and that God needs a job. This is not the point at which the Bible speaks of God working for us, as in Isaiah 64. 4: Does God work? For the one who’s waiting for you?.

The common sense in saying that God works for me is that I am broke and need help. I’m weak and I need someone strong. I’m in danger and I need a protector. I’m a fool and I need someone wise. I’m lost and I need a lifeguard.

God works for me means I can’t do the job

And it glorifies him, not me. The supplier is reputed, Mighty receives praise.

Read and free yourself from the burden of carrying your own cargo. Let God do this job.
