Radical reward
Verse of the day: Truly, I say unto you, there is no one who has left the house, no brothers, no sisters, no mother, no father, no father, no children, no fields, for me and for the sake of the gospel, who does not receive, already in the present, one hundred for one of houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields, with persecution; and, in the world to come, eternal life (Mark 10:29-30).
What Jesus means here is that he himself rewards every sacrifice
For future missionaries, Jesus said, “I promise to work for you and be for you so that you cannot speak of sacrificing anything. “
What was Jesus’ attitude toward the sacrificed spirit?Peter’s? Peter said, “Here we leave everything, and follow thee” (Mark 10:28). Is this spirit of “selfless”?Is he praised by Jesus?No, he’s scolded.
Jesus said, “Doesn’t anyone ever sacrifice me anything I pay a hundred times?Yes, in a sense, even in this life, not to mention eternal life in the age to come”
