November 3rd? Daily devotion CHARLES SPURGEON

Verse of the day: Pray. (Acts 9. 11)

Prayers are instantly observed in the sky. The moment Saul began to pray, the Lord heard him. Brings rest to the troubled soul that prays. Often, an anguished and sad person bends his knees, but can only express his regret with the language of sighs and tears. However, that moan made all the harps in heaven vibrate to the beat of the music. These tears are captured by God and consecrated in heaven. “Have you collected my tears on your skin? (Psalm 56. 8) implies that they are caught as they sink. The supplicant whose fears stand in the way of words will be understood by the Most High. The supplicant can only look up with confused eyes , but prayer is the fall of a tear. Tears are diamonds from heaven, and sighs are part of the music of Jehovah’s court. There are the most sublime melodies that reach the Majesty in Paradise. Do not think that your prayer, however weak or fickle, will be ignored. Jacob’s ladder is high, but our prayer will climb its sparkling curls and rest on the Angel of the covenant. Our God not only hears prayer, but is pleased to hear it Do you not forget the cry of the afflicted? (Psalm 9:12). It is true that God does not pay attention to haughty eyes and imposing words, does not take into account the pomp and splendor of kings. God does not hear the volume of the mú martial physics. He does not pay attention to the triumph and arrogance of me. But where there is a heart full of pain, lips trembling with agony, a deep groan or sighs of regret, there will be the heart of Jehovah. It records it in memories. Place our prayers, like rose leaves, between the pages of your scrapbook, and when the book is opened, at the end, it will give off a beautiful fragrance. Faith does not ask for a sign from heaven, to show that the prayer has been heard, our priest is in his holy place, and from the throne of grace he is answered.
