Verse of the day: To him, then, glory for ever and ever. Amen! (Romans 11:36)
For him, therefore, eternal glory. It must be the only desire of the believer. All other wishes must be subordinate to this. The believer may desire prosperity in his affairs, but only to the extent that such prosperity helps him promote the glory of God: “to him, therefore, glory forever. ” The believer may desire more gifts and more virtues, but it should only happen for the glory of God. You are not doing what you should if you are motivated by a reason other than the exclusive consideration of the glory of God. As a believer, you are of God and you exist thanks to God; So live for God Never let anything else make your heart beat as fast as your love for Him. As a believer, let this ambition ignite your soul. Let it be the foundation of every endeavor you engage in and your encouragement as your zeal begins to wane. Make God your only goal. Rely on this ambition. Where the ego begins to manifest itself, sadness accompanies it. But, if God is my supreme pleasure and my only goal, I don’t care if love rules my life or my death, well-being or pain. Allow your desire for the glory of God to grow. You would bless the Lord in your youth, but don’t be satisfied with the praise He gave you at that time. Has God made you prosper in your business? Give him more, because he gave more. God gave you experience, praise him with a stronger faith than you showed at the beginning. Are you increasing your awareness? So sing more sweetly. Are you going through happier times than before? Did you recover from your illness and did your sadness turn to joy and peace? In your life, honor him in a practical way by placing the? Amen? in this song of praise to his great and merciful Lord, through individual worship and growth in holiness.
