Verse of the day: My part is the Lord, said my soul (Lamentations 3. 24).
Didn’t the prophet say, “Is the Lord on my side?” or: “The Lord is on my side. ” But the Lord Himself is the entire heritage of my soul. In this circle we find everything we have or want. The Lord is my part, not only his grace, his love and his covenant, but Jehovah himself. He chose us as his part and we chose him as our part. It is true that the Lord must choose us first, otherwise we would not choose ourselves; The Lord is our part that is enough for us. God completes himself, and if he is self-sufficient, he must be all-sufficient for us. It is not easy to satisfy the desires of men. When they dream that they are satisfied, they immediately wake up realizing that something awaits them and the greed in their hearts screams: “Give it to me! Give it to me!? But all we can fight for is to find ourselves under the divine portion, so we ask, “Who else do I have in heaven?” Is there no other that I like on earth? (Psalms 73. 25). We can very well rejoice in the Lord, who makes us drink from the river of his pleasures. Our faith spreads its wings and soars like an eagle to the heaven of divine love as its own home. “My coins fall in pleasant places, is my inheritance very beautiful? (Psalm 16. 6). Let us always rejoice in the Lord. Let us show the world that we are a happy and blessed people, making them exclaim:” We will go with you, because we have heard that God is with you? (Zechariah 8:23).
