The Wonder of Creation
Verse of the day: God gives him the body as he pleases and with each of the seeds, his own body. (1 Corinthians 15:38)
I have collected little things in the scriptures that reveal God’s intimate participation in creation.
For example, in 1 Corinthians 15:38, Paul compares how a seed is planted in one direction and otherwise grows with a “body” unlike all other bodies. He said, “Does God give you a body exactly as he wants, and each of the seeds a proper body?”(Author Translation).
It is a remarkable statement about divine participation in the way God designed each seed to produce his own unique plant (not only species, but each individual seed!).
Here, Paul does not teach evolution, but it shows how he sees God’s intimate participation in creation. Clearly, you cannot imagine that a natural process is conceived without God doing so.
Again, in Psalm 94. 9, he says, “What per ear could not have heard?”And what shaped his eyes is that he can’t see?how the ear is made on the head to fulfill its hearing function.
Therefore, when we love the wonders of the human eye and the impressive structure of the ear, we should not marvel at random processes, but at the spirit and creativity of God.
Likewise, in Psalm 95. 5: “He belongs to the sea, for he did; work of your hands, continents?God’s involvement in the creation of the earth and the sea is such that in fact the sea belongs to him. “
It is not that impersonally put it into practice billions of years ago, on the contrary, it is the only owner because it did, today it is the work of his hands and carries the marks that his Creator claims about himself, because a work of art belongs to the one who painted it until he sells or gives it away.
I point out these things not to solve all the problems that involve the problems of the origins, but to call it to be centered on God while admiring the wonders of the world.
