Missionary life: for herself

There is an extreme moral and spiritual decline that affects all areas of society, sin has contaminated the entire human race, generating destructive consequences, such as dysfunctional families, abusive relationships, in short, all kinds of evils, sadness, indifference, and reaches the most corrosive levels: total negligence with God and disaffected with other human beings, although many people deny the existence of God , his conscience must be awakened by his mighty Word, for we were all created in his image and his law is engraved in our hearts. (Romans 2. 15).

To be a missionary is to obey the call to love one’s neighbour, without expecting anything as a reward, for we give what we have already received: Christ, so, as Amy Carmichael said: Missionary life is a great opportunity to die for yourself!

  • ? My life to die for me began when I married.
  • I always joke that my husband cheated on me.
  • I married a football player and not a missionary.
  • My husband has been called to ministry for eight years and so have I.
  • To serve God through our marriage.
  • Our family.
  • And then serve the Church.
  • Next.
  • We will see two mission fields that God has placed in every Christian: the world.
  • The place where we live.
  • And the church with which I have entered.
  • On a membership pact.

Every Christian is a missionary in her social context, teaching her children to pray daily for family members, talking to the baker, going to the supermarket, creating relationships. At each point, God has provided us with unique opportunities to proclaim the gospel.

We must look at people from this perspective, who were made in the image of God (Gen 1:27) and, wisely, pray at all times to take advantage of opportunities to share saving grace, to be loving people, not religious fanatics, but pleasant by using the word of God wisely (Colossus 4. 2-6).

I have learned to love God faithfully and thus love people with mercy and to proclaim the freedom that only Jesus can give them!If you love God, you will not be indifferent to people, on the contrary, you will approach God for the benefit of others and He will produce a desire to watch over their lives.

My prayer is that God awakens in you a deep love for the lost souls around you, that you begin by praying for them first, asking God for courage, losing shame, fear of being rejected, or suffering scams, but keep in mind that he pleased God to save men by the madness of preaching the gospel (1C. 1. 21) through clay vessels , (2Co. 4: 7-13) that it’s you and me!

The gospel is God’s power for salvation (Romans 1:16). So why do we doubt it when we announce it?If we have Christ, we have everything! I say this, not because I am the best evangelist, but because sometimes I feel so discouraged and afraid of people, so I want to encourage you to get rid of Satan’s lies, the feelings of inferiority because you may not be a theologian and you are happy. With such privilege that even angels would like to enjoy! (1P 1:12)

In Chapter 4 of Mark, Jesus teaches his disciples that the Kingdom of God develops through the sowers, who do their job, but God, through his Holy Spirit, makes him believe to forgive his sins and give them eternal life. In the next chapter, the man who was freed from a legion of demons wanted to follow Jesus, and the teacher replied: Jesus, however, did not allow him, but commanded him: Go home, to your house, tell them all that. the Lord has made you and how He sympathies with you. Then he went and began to proclaim in the Decapolis all that Jesus had done to him; and all were astonished (Mk 5. 19-20).

Do your job, sow the gospel wherever you go, talk about what God has done in your life, and then rest on God’s sovereignty, because he will produce faith in hearts, not you!Do not presume if someone becomes, on the contrary, humiliates your heart so that God may be exalted.

I remember a young woman with whom I exchanged a single sentence on a bus in Lima, Peru, smiled and said, “Jesus is the only one who can save you from your sins and give you eternal life. “

The next Sunday she was in church, God saved her! What a joy to contemplate the miracle of salvation!See the transformation of a life so sadly affected by sin into a life of peace and joy in God!

May any knowledge you have of God lead you to love your neighbor more!In addition to evangelism, my main goal as a missionary is to love my Lord’s church. He gave us the sweet responsibility to be members of Christ’s body, to help others grow spiritually.

We live in the digital age, which has benefited the advancement of the gospel and knowledge of sound doctrine, but what I noticed was that involvement with the media prompted some to want to be physically away from others, indifferent to the Christian life of communion. , such as meeting, discipline, loving, praying, spending time together, having a time of responsibility.

The local church exists to show nations the glory of God, we do so by setting our eyes on the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, trusting in his command to go and make disciples, and you are part of this divine embassy. Ambassador of Christ in this land where you are!

Fear of being a totally biblical influence! I opened my life to the sisters, invited the girls to spend time with me (we cook, we read, we study the Bible and we walk together). God loved me in Christ, then I love Him, and I do it for the love of those. has put around me. (M 12. 30-31)

All our lives must go through the filter of God’s Word and purify themselves, organize with discipline for it. It is part of our obedience to guide others toward obedience to God (Mt 28:19-20). The missionary travels the world, in schools, wards, cities, and neighborhoods around the world. But the ministry of education is mainly through churches. The churches carry out the great commission and discipular is the work of the churches. Mark Dever teaches us: “Discipline helps others follow Jesus. And to do spiritual good for them, but to become a disciple is to begin a relationship in which you teach, correct, model, and love. Does it require a lot of humility?”

May our good God help us to follow the career offered to us until the return of our King!
