According to the New Testament, “Ministry? That’s what all Christians do. Pastors are tasked with training the Saints in the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:12). But ordinary Christians are the ones who exercise ministry. “
- The ministry is as diverse as that of Christians.
- It is not a function like that of an old man or a deacon; it is a way of life dedicated to the improvement of Christ.
Does this mean that we are doing good for everyone, but especially for the family of faith?(Galatians 6. 10). Whether we are bankers or canteurs, it means that our goal is to promote the faith and holiness of others.
Fulfilling your ministry is more important than living. This belief is what makes the lives of radically devout people so inspiring to see. Most of them are expressed in the way Paul spoke of his ministry here in Acts 20: fulfilling the ministry God gives us is more important than life.
You may think you need to save your life to fulfill your ministry; instead, the way he loses his life may be the cornerstone of his ministry. This certainly happened to Jesus, when he was only thirty-something years old.
We don’t have to worry about staying alive to finish our ministry, only God knows the time of our service.
Henry Martyn was right when he said, “If [God] has work to do, I can’t die. “In other words, I’m immortal until my work is done. Therefore, the department is more important than life.
