Verse of the day: Our hearts rejoice in him, for we trust in his holy name (Psalm 33. 21).
The root of faith produces the flower of joy of the heart. We cannot rejoice at the beginning of the Christian life, but it will happen in due course. We trust in the Lord when we are in sadness, and in due course, He responds. to our trust, so that our faith may rejoice and rejoice in the Lord. Doubt produces agitation, yet over time, trust in God means joy.
- The certainty expressed by the Psalmist in this verse is in fact a firm promise in the hands of true trust.
- O may the Lord grant us the grace to appropriate this promise! If at the moment we do not rejoice.
- We will soon be as sure that the God of David is our God.
Let us meditate on the holy name of God, so that we may trust Him more and enjoy ourselves more easily; in his character, God is holy, just, true, funny, faithful, and immutable; Is not a God with these attributes worthy of our trust God knows all things, is almighty and omnipresent; Shouldn’t we rest on it?Yes, let’s do it right away, unreservedly. Jehovah Jere will provide; Jehovah Shalom will send peace; Jehovah Tsidkenu will justify; Jehovah Sham will always be close; and in Jehovah Nuss we will defeat all enemies. Those who know your name will trust you; and those who trust you will rejoice, Lord.
