Verse of the day: “Many followed him, and healed them all” (Matthew 12. 15).
What a multitude of horrible diseases must have accumulated before the eyes of the Lord Jesus! Despite this, we are not told that he was upset, but that he patiently took time in each case. What variety of evils must have been found at the feet of the Lord Jesus! What disgusting ulcers and rotten wounds! However, he was always ready for every new form of evil, surpassing it in all its aspects. The arrows came from everywhere he went, he quenched their scorching power. The heat of fever or the cold of dropsy; the lethargy of paralysis or the fury of madness; the filth of leprosy or the darkness of blindness: all diseases knew the power of the Lord Jesus and were removed at his command. In every corner he triumphs over evil and receives the respect of the captives freed by him, he comes, he sees, he wins everywhere. This is also true on this day. Whatever my case, dear Doctor can cure me. Regardless of the condition of those whom I remember in prayer, I hope in Jesus that he will heal them of their diseases.

- The Church on earth is full of souls healed by our beloved Doctor.
- The inhabitants of heaven also confess that the Lord Jesus healed them all.
- So they see and proclaim widely the virtue of Jesus’ grace.
- Allowing him to be: Glory to the Lord and eternal memory.
