May 6th? Cure for envy

Verse of the day: Do not envy your hearts of sinners; rather, it is out of fear of the Lord that you will persevere every day. For there will certainly be a bright future; Your hope will not be dashed (Proverbs 23:17-18).

When we see the bad guys prosper, we are inclined to envy them; when we hear the sound of their joys and our minds get overwhelmed, we almost managed to feed the thought that they are in the best of situations. Attitude. If we know them better and, in particular, remember their end, we will feel compassion.

  • The cure for envy is to live under a constant feeling of divine presence.
  • Worship God.
  • And have fellowship with Him throughout the day.
  • Regardless of the length of the day.
  • True Christianity elevates our souls to a higher sphere.
  • Where discernment becomes clearer.
  • And more sublime desires.
  • The more paradise there is in our lives.
  • The less we will covet the things of the earth.
  • The fear of the Lord destroys the envy of men.

The fatal blow of envy consists of a quiet meditation on the future. The richness and glory of the wicked is a useless spectacle. The pompous appearance only shines for a moment and then disappears. What good will the prosperity of the wicked do when they are in the final judgment?But as far as the believer is concerned, in the end he will enjoy blessings and peace, and no one will steal his joy from him. Therefore, you must overcome envy and be happy.
