May 31st? Tende Bom Animo

Verse of the day: In the world, you are going through afflictions; but be in a good mood. I have won the world (John 16:33).

These words of our Lord are true of afflictions, I certainly shared many of them. The deck isn’t out of the way and I don’t expect it to stay outside while I stay in the threshing area. How can I feel at home, living in enemy territory?happy in exile; comfortable in the desert? This world is not my rest. It’s the place of the oven, the forge and the hammer. My experience is in harmony with the words of our Lord.

  • I watch him send me in a good mood.
  • Unfortunately.
  • I am very inclined to feel discouraged.
  • My mind quickly decays when I am tested.
  • But I cannot give rise to that kind of feeling.
  • When my lord orders me to be in a good mood.
  • Do not be discouraged What argument do you use to encourage me?Well.
  • Your own victory.
  • He says.
  • “I’ve won the world.
  • “His struggle was much more intense than mine.
  • I have not even resisted the blood yet.
  • Why should I despair.
  • For fear of being defeated?Look.
  • My soul.
  • The enemy has already been defeated.
  • I’m fighting a defeated enemy.
  • O world.
  • Jesus has conquered you.
  • And in me.
  • By his grace.
  • He will overcome you again.
  • That is why I am in good spirits and I sing praises to my Lord.
  • Who has won.
