Verse of the day: Jesus said unto them, Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men (Mark 1:17).
Only by following Jesus can we obtain the desires of our hearts and be truly useful to our contemporaries. Oh, how good we want to be fishermen of Jesus! We must sacrifice our lives to gain souls for Christ. But we are tempted to use methods that Jesus would never have used. Will we accept this suggestion from our enemy? If we accept, we can remove the water, but we’ll never catch the fish. We must follow Jesus if we want to succeed, entertainment, sensational methods and things like that?Can we imagine that the Lord Jesus attracts a group of people by the methods that are now commonly used?What is the result of such methods? The result is nothing he will take into account on the last day. We must preach in the same way that our Lord did, for in this way many souls will be saved. We must proclaim the teachings taught by our Lord and proclaim the totality and free gospel, because it is the network in which souls will be carried.
- We must preach with the cordiality.
- Boldness.
- And love of our Lord: this is the secret to reaching the hearts of people.
- We must work under the ation of God.
- According to the Holy Spirit.
- To follow in the footsteps of Jesus and not run before him or away from him.
- We will be fishermen of men.
