Verse of the day: I will return to you the years consumed by the migratory lobster, the destroyer and the cutter, my great army which I have sent against you others (Joel 2:25).
Yes, the lost years, of which we complain a lot, will be returned to us. God can grant us such abundant grace that for the rest of our days we will accumulate with sufficient service, that it will be a reward for the years we live in disbelief, for which we we we mourn with humble repentance.
- Let us see worldlyness and indifference to God as a terrible plague.
- O never come near us!The Lord.
- In His mercy.
- Has cast them out.
- And we are filled with zeal to serve Him; Blessed be thy name.
- We can obtain such a generous harvest of spiritual virtues that it will make our ancient infertility disappear; with this abundant grace we will draw on our bitter experiences and use it to warn others; with previous mistakes.
- We can become more rooted in our humility.
- In our child dependence.
- In our sincere spirituality.
- If we are more vigilant.
- Jealous and compassionate.
- We will overcome our pitiful losses.
- Lost years.
- Thanks to a miracle of love.
- Can be recovered.
- As a great blessing? We believe and live motivated by this truth.
- So we can understand it.
- As was the case with the Apostle Peter.
- Who became more useful after his presumption was healed by the discovery of his own weakness.
- Your grace.
