Light beyond light

Jesus Christ is a snack. To walk away from him for pleasure without Christ dries up the soul.
At first it may seem like a freedom and a pleasure to save in prayer and neglect the Word, but then we pay with superficiality, lack of power, vulnerability to sin, preoccupation with trivialities, superficial relationships, and a terrifying loss of interest in worship. and the things of the Spirit.
Don’t let summer wither your soul. God has made summer a taste of heaven, not a substitute.
If the postman brings you a love letter from your fiancé, don’t fall in love with the postman, don’t fall in love with the movie ad to the point where you can’t love the coming reality.
Jesus Christ is the invigorating center of summer. It is pre-eminent throughout (Colosssenses 1. 18), including holidays, picnics, football, walks and barbecues. He invites us this summer: “Come to me all ye who are tired and overwhelmed, and I will releote you?”(Matthew 11:28).
Do we want it? That’s the question. Christ gives himself to us when we desire his snack. You want to find me and find me when you’re looking for me with all your heart?(Jeremiah 29:13).
Peter’s word on this subject is: “Do you repent and convert so that your sins may be blotted out, that from the Presence of the Lord come times of refreshment?(Acts 3: 19-20). Repentance is not only to turn away from sin, but also to turn to the Lord with an open, voluntary, submissive heart.
What kind of summer state of mind is this? This is the mindset of Colossus 3:2: “If you have been resurrected with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ lives, sitting at the right hand of God. “Do you think about the things above, not the things here on earth?
Is this a harbinger of the reality of what the eternal summer will be when the city does not need the sun or moon to enlighten it, because the glory of God has enlightened it, and the Lamb is the lamp?(Revelation 21:23).
The summer sun is a simple arrow to the sun it will be. The glory of God, Summer is here to show it and make it visible. Would you like to have eyes to see? Sir, let’s see the light beyond the light.
