Verse of the day: “He must also walk. “(1 John 2. 6)
Why should believers imitate Christ? They have to do it for their own soul. If the believers want to enjoy good spiritual health; If you want to escape the sickness of sin and enjoy the strength of increasing grace, Jesus must be your model. For your own happiness, if you want to enjoy holy and happy communion with Jesus and get away from the worries and problems of this world, you must walk like him. Nothing can help you walk so fast, on your way to heaven, like having the image of the Lord Jesus in your heart, to govern all your actions. When, by the power of the Holy Spirit, you follow in the footsteps of the Lord Jesus, you will be happier and better known as one of God’s children. “Did Peter follow him from afar?” (Luke 22,54). This attitude of Pedro is dangerous and alarming. Then, because of your faith, make an effort to be like Jesus. The faith has been severely attacked by cruel enemies. However, her enemies did not vilify her as dangerously as her friends. Who made these wounds on the beautiful hands of mercy? He who professed the faith but used the dagger of hypocrisy; the so-called man, who enters the flock as nothing more than a wolf in sheep’s clothing, torments the flock more than the lion outside. There is no weapon as deadly as the kiss of a Judas Iscariot. Inconsistent believers harm the gospel more than the mocking critic or the infidel.
