March 9th? Praying for peace

Verse of the day: Seek peace in the city where I have banished you, and pray for it to the Lord; for in your peace you will have peace (Jeremiah 29:7)

The principle involved in this promise could suggest to Lodos who are pilgrims and strangers to the Lord that we must be very willing to promote peace and prosperity for the people in whom we live. In a special way, our country and our city must be blessed by our constant intercession. A fervent prayer for our country and other countries is always welcome on the lips of every believer.

  • We must pray earnestly for a great increase in peace.
  • At home and abroad.
  • If conflicts extend to our streets.
  • Or if a war abroad results in the death of our brave soldiers.
  • We must all mourn this calamity.
  • Therefore.
  • Let us pray for peace and strive to diligently promote the principles by which the peoples of our homeland and those of foreign countries will be united in bonds of friendship.

We have been promised a peaceful life in relation to the peace of our country; and that we desire intensely, because living in this way, we can raise our families in the fear of the Lord and preach the gospel unhindered. Today, let us pray a lot for our country, confessing national sins and pleading for forgiveness and blessings for all its inhabitants, for the love of Jesus.
