Verse of the Day: Verse of the Day: I will honor those who will honor me (1 Samuel 2. 30).
Is honoring God my standard of conduct and the greatest goal of my life?If that’s true, he’ll honor me. For now, I may not receive the honor that comes from man, but God Himself will bestow honor on me, in a very effective way, and in the end, we will discover that the safest way to honor is to be willing to be ashamed because of our Christian conscience.
- Eli had not honored the Lord by not governing his family well.
- Nor had his children honored God with behavior worthy of his sacred function; therefore.
- The Lord did not honor them and removed the high priesthood from his family.
- Making young Samuel the judge of Israel.
- Rather than one of Eli’s descendants.
- If I want my family to be angry.
- I must honor the Lord in everything.
- God can allow the wicked to receive the honors of the world; But the dignity he gives himself.
- The glory.
- The honor and immortality.
- The Lord reserves it for those who.
- Through holy obedience.
- Take care to honor him.
What can I do today to honor the Lord? I will promote your honor through my verbal testimony and practical obedience; I will also honor him with my being, offering him a special service; I have to sit back and ponder how I can honor him, for he will honor me.
