March 28th? Daily devotion CHARLES SPURGEON

Verse of the day :?The love of Christ, which surpasses all understanding?(Ephesians 3:19)

Christ’s love in his sweetness, fullness, greatness and fidelity is beyond human understanding. Words cannot describe their incomparable love for men. This love is so broad and limitless that, just as the swallow glides over the surface of the water and does not dive into the depths, so that the descriptive words touch only the surface of this love, while the unsymized depths remain below. The prophet would say, “O love, your depth is impenetrable!?for this love of Christ is certainly, without measure and without end; no one else can match it.

  • Before we have a correct idea of Christ’s love.
  • We must understand his former glory in the top of majesty and in its incarnation on earth with all its shame.
  • But who can describe the majesty of Christ? When he was enthroned in heavenly heights.
  • He was God as much as God.
  • Thanks to it.
  • The heavens were created and all their armies were created.
  • His own almighty arm held the spheres.
  • The praises of cherubs and seraphim surrounded him continually.
  • The abundant hallelujah choir of the universe flowed incessantly at the foot of Jesus’ throne.
  • Did he reign supreme over all his creatures? God above all.
  • Blessed forever (see Romans 9:5).

Who can say the level of his fame in this post?On the other hand, who can describe the depth of your condescension?Being a man was one thing, but being a man of pain was another. Bleeding, death, and suffering meant a great deal with Him, who was the Son of God. However, suffer unprecedented agony and endure shameful death and abandonment on your Father’s part?It shows the depth of condescending love, which the most inspired mind cannot fully imagine. “There is love in Jesus! True love, “beyond all comprehension. “O may this love fill our hearts with gratitude and lead us to practical manifestations of its power.
