Ten results of the resurrection
Verse of the day: And if Christ was not resurrected, your faith is in vain and is always in your sins (1 Corinthians 15:17).
Here are ten wonderful things we owe to Jesus’ Resurrection
1) A savior who will never die. ” Knowing that, having risen Christ from the dead, he no longer dies?(Romans 6. 9).
2) Repentance. ” The God of our fathers resurrected Jesus, whom you killed, hanging him from a wood. But did God, with his right hand, elevate him to the rank of prince and savior, to grant Israel’s repentance?(Acts 5: 30-31).
3) New birth. ” According to his great mercy, did he regenerate us to living hope, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead?(1 Peter 1. 3).
4) Forgiveness of sins. And if Christ did not rise, is his faith vain and still in his sins?(1 Corinthians 15:17).
5) The Holy Spirit. ” This Jesus God is risen, of which we are all witnesses. Thus exalted to the right of God, having received the promise of the Holy Spirit of the Father, did he spread what you see and hear?( Acts 2, 32-33).
6) There is no condemnation for elected officials. (Romans 8. 34)
7) Communion and personal protection of Jesus. Behold, I am with you every day until the end of the century (Matthew 28:20).
8) Proof of future judgment. ” [God] has established a day when he will judge the world fairly, through a man who destined and believed before all, lifting them from the dead?(Acts 17:31).
9) Salvation from the wrath of God to come. “[We] await his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus, who delivers us from the wrath to come? (1 Thessalonians 1. 10; Romans 5. 9).
10) Our own resurrection from the dead. ” [We] know that whoever resurrected the Lord Jesus will also resurrect us with Jesus and introduce us to you?(2 Corinthians 4. 14; Romans 6. 4; 8. 11; 1 Corinthians 6. 14; 15. 20).
