March 27th? Approaching God

Verse of the day: Come to God, and he will draw near to others (James 4. 8).

The closer we get to God, the more gracefully it is revealed to us. When the prodigal son returned to his father, he ran to find him. When the wandering dove returned to the ark, Noah reached out and took it for himself. When the loving wife seeks her husband’s company, he comes to receive her with wings of love. Come then, dear reader, let us approach God, who waits for us gracefully, yes, and comes to meet us.

  • Have you noticed the passage from Isaiah 58.
  • 9? There.
  • God seems to be available to His people.
  • Saying.
  • “Here I am.
  • ” without saying.
  • “What do you have to tell me?How can we hesitate to draw near to God?He is very close.
  • To forgive.
  • Bless.
  • Comfort.
  • Help.
  • Strengthen.
  • And deliver.
  • Our greatest goal must be to draw closer to God.
  • Once we do that.
  • Everything else will be done.
  • If we approach others.
  • They may tire of us and abandon us.
  • But if we seek only the Lord.
  • There will be no change in his plan.
  • He will continue to draw ever closer to us.
  • Through a more complete path of happier communion.
