Verse of the day 😕 If it’s me, then what are you looking for, let them go?(John 18. 8)
O my soul, observe the care that Jesus manifested,
- Even for your test.
- For your sheep! The love that dominated her proved strong even in death; surrendered to the enemy.
- But he questioned a word of power to deliver his disciples; as for him.
- Like a sheep in front of his mink.
- He shut up and did not open his mouth.
- (see Isaiah 53.
- 7).
- However.
- Thanks to his disciples.
- The Lord Jesus spoke with a powerful energy.
- Is love constant.
- Selfless and faithful.
- However.
- In this verse.
- There is more than we can see at the beginning.
- Can’t we find in these words the soul and spirit of atonement? The Good Shepherd gives his life for the sheep (see John 10.
- 11) and therefore prays that they can go free.
- The guarantor is arrested; justice demands that those of whom he is a substitute leave.
In the midst of slavery in Egypt, the voice sounds like a word of power: “Let them go?(See Exodus 9. 1). The redeemed must come out of the bondage of sin and Satan. In every prison cell of despair, the Sound resonates: “Let them go. “Satan hears the known voice and removes the foot from the neck of sinners. Death hears the same voice and the tomb opens its doors to allow the dead to rise.
The path of the redeemed is the path of progress, holiness, triumph, and glory; and no one will dare to prevent them from moving in that direction. “Will there not be a lion there, will not a fierce animal pass by, and will you not find yourself there? (Isaiah 35: 9)? The doe in the morning attracted cruel hunters; now, the most timid deer in the fields can peacefully graze among the lilies the love of your Lord. The fury of God’s wrath fell upon the cross of Calvary, and the pilgrims of Zion will never again be struck by the rays of vengeance. Come rejoice in the immunity that the Redeemer assures you and blesses his name, on this day and every day.
